Fire risk assessment software built around PAS 79
Carry out PAS 79 fire risk assessments on a tablet, turn every deficiency into a tracked action, and start re-inspections with last time’s data already loaded.

What is BORIS FRA software?
BORIS fire risk assessment software lets assessors complete PAS 79 fire risk assessments on a phone or tablet for residential and non-residential buildings. Each deficiency becomes an action with an owner and due date that is tracked until it is closed.
Completed FRAs sync back to the device, so repeat assessments start pre-filled. The FRA module is included free in BORIS Professional and Enterprise, and is available as a BORIS Lite module.

Frequently asked questions
Is BORIS fire risk assessment software PAS 79 compliant?
Yes. The FRA module follows the PAS 79-1 methodology for non-residential buildings and PAS 79-2 for residential buildings, supporting compliance with UK fire safety legislation.
Can I track remedial actions after a fire risk assessment?
Yes. Every deficiency can carry an action with an owner and due date, and its status is tracked through to completion. Action plan reports summarise everything outstanding.
Does the FRA module cost extra?
No. It is included free in BORIS Professional and Enterprise, and can be chosen as the module on BORIS Lite.
Can assessors see previous assessments on site?
Yes. Completed FRAs are pushed back to the device, so re-inspections start with historical data preloaded.
